Goal - Overhaul page state (EnduraCode) One reason this is important: Update Now doesn't pick up controls that changed before the intermediate post-back, so if nothing changed since then, no update takes place! | - The web framework now has a new mechanism for storing state across intermediate post-backs of a page. If you have a complex form that needs to post back to restructure itself without saving, this is the best way to store the key piece of data that will cause the next loadData run to produce the restructured form. See ComponentStateItem.Create for more information.

| EnduraCode support - Ad Hoc Development | - Web framework container components, such as EwfTable, no longer have a hideIfEmpty parameter. This parameter, while occasionally useful, had an unreasonable limitation in that it could not help you hide outer containers. For example, if you had an empty table wrapped by a section, you could not hide the section without writing your own logic to check for table content, thereby defeating the purpose of hideIfEmpty. We explored the idea of adding hideIfEmpty parameters to generic containers (sections, paragraphs, etc.) and found it to be impractical since it would require child-node creation to be done ahead of time to determine whether a parent element should exist. This is tricky since child-node creation requires a parent element ID, and we don't want to assign an ID if the parent may end up not existing.
- The web framework's post-back change detection now only considers form controls (and state items; see above) that are associated with the data modification being executed. Therefore, for example, if you have a navigational text control (i.e. lookup box) on a page that is not associated with the page's data-update modification, then using the lookup box will no longer trigger the data-update modification to run.
- The web framework post-back concurrency checks no longer consider form controls (and state items) that do not have a validation method, since these controls are not capable of overwriting any data.
